Hi Everyone,

I have decided its time to invest in new cake tins. The ones I have now don't wash all that well and discolour quickly because of the washing and smell very metalic after a while which means I get rid and get a new one to replace it so I think it will be best to get some really good sets that will last years.

Has anyone got any thoughts or advice, what tins do you use? And what can handle everyday baking and cleaning?

Many thanks

What are you using now? I use Magic Line pans almost exclusively. Made in US and can handle daily use. I do hand wash because I don't like the finish they start to get after several washings in dishwasher. The bakeries I have worked in have also used that brand.

I am also interested in purchasing some professional cake tins but the only ones I can find are in USA that are fat daddios anodized in sets $500+ to get to AUS. Anyone have any ideas on what else they use or are good professional cake tins?

Magic LIne are fabulous.  I personally hate, hate, hate FD pans.
