How long are cake pops good for? I'm referring to the the cake pops that you bake the cake, crumble & mix w/frosting to make a dough like consistency.  I need to make a lot & want to know how far in advance I can make them and how long they'll last?  Thank you to all that reply

You can roll them as far ahead as you like and freeze them.  Then,  just defrost them in the fridge before you dip them. Don't dip them while their frozen because your chocolate will crack on you.

Otherwise, I'm sure if you did the whole thing ahead, they would last quite a while because they are sealed in the chocolate (as long as you don't put anything perishable in them like cream cheese, etc.).

Want to add, you could refrigerate the finished pops as well.  I just wouldn't freeze them once coated in chocolate to avoid the cracking.
