Would the frozen buttercream transfer method work using store bought frosting (pillsbury)?
sure if it is firm enough -- i add cornstarch to it if necessary but i was in southern california at the time and it was hot and exceeding d.r.y. -- so if it stays put great if not add cornstarch and you'll be fine
What she said ^^^. Should be no problem. Oh and to counter the cornstarch taste, add a teaspoon of flavoring to the frosting :) Those canned frosting can always use extra flavoring.
