Hi everyone I have to make two cakes by Saturday morning and I'm using an EI for a paw patrol cake . Does anyone know if EI will peel or crack once it's on the fondant and it hardens? I'm using it as a cake topper and I'm thinking of making it the night before. It's my first time working with EI ! Help!

I don't know if you found an answer for your question, but here's my experience.

When you say Cake Topper, will it actually be standing up? If so, I suggest using gumpaste as a backing for the image. The Image cannot hold it's own weight up. Basically roll and cut the gumpaste to the size of the image and place the image on top. Attach your method of picks (dowels, lolliposticks, toothpicks, etc..) to the gumpaste before putting on the image in case they go through the gumpaste, you can fix it and your image wont be ruined. :)
