Hi there

i am planing a suprise party for my wife's 30th birthday and and now need to decide on decorating the cake.

i would like to go with a 3 0 cake maybe pink with bling although the party is a black and white theme I still think pink is a colour she loves and also I know she loves the bling wraped around.

any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance

I myself didn't really like the fact of turning 30 but a birthday party is always amazing for anyone lol... I think a pale pink with candy diamonds and maybe some white and pale pink roses would be beautiful but possibly on a 2 teir cake for elegance if that's what your seeking and not just numbers which might make her feel bad about her age... Just a thought hope it goes good and happy bday early to her :)

Hi there

thank you very much for your reply.

It was a thought also maybe a 2 tier cake as I did see 1 nice on google images. It very hard to even decide on the cake lol maybe because I'm a man or maybe because I just want it perfect.

your idea does sound great, could I bee cheeky and ask do you have a image of a similar cake you suggested?

Here's a suggestion:  http://www.cakecentral.com/gallery/i/1271589/mans-80th-birthday

Yes, it's not 30 but can easily be changed.  If you want complete directions on how to create it just PM me.

OR a tiered beauty:  http://www.cakecentral.com/gallery/i/84663/romantic-wedding-shower-design

More work - needs special molds but doable.

Hi thank you mellee but unfortunately not got the time to bake it as wife always around me so will blow the surprise. On the day of birthday going to get a cheap cake from shop on the weekend is the surprise party so then will have the cake made for that day. I will be in the dog house for 5 days but worth it when she see what I have done hopefully.

thank you kakelady but I know she would like more pink and some bling but I really appreciate your idea cake looks lovely
