I am going to be part of a popular craft fair in my area in April and am wondering how many cupcakes to make. They expect 550-850 people. Also when you first enter they give each shopper a flyer with coupons from the booths that pay extra to be featured and I will have a coupon. I was thinking 200 or 300 cupcakes. How many should I make?

That's probably about right, especially if they'll have a coupon. I think that lower price point items are more popular at craft fairs, so you'll be more likely to sell a cupcake than a quilt, for example. But you don't want to make too many, so 200-300 seems okay. It's better to run out and look really popular than it is to have 150 left over. Make sure to bring flyers and business cards to hand out instead of cupcakes if you do run out!

Do 250 and split the difference if you're not sure.
