Thanks to someone mentioning finding their Hobart on Craigslist, I started looking quite frequently.

Found a 20qt for only $800 in my very own town. Had local Hobart tech replace the gears/clean out the grease and replace the cord for just $200.

My father just painted it for me. Very happy!

Good deal! I paid more than that for mine, used, but Hobarts are workhorses. They are the BEST!
