Help! Cake is oily and under baked. Cake tester came out clean for vanilla cake but now that it's cooled off, I can see that it's underdone in the center and a bit oily. Any suggestions on how to still use it instead of trashing it?
I read somewhere about trying to microwave cake but was not sure how long or if this would really be effective.
Looking to salvage cake, if possible but prepared to make another one.
