What do you guys think works better, using marshmallow fondant or using homemade fondant made with Geleten. All I've ever used is marshmallow fondant but it always end up being hard to work with. I.E.,( ripping, sticking, hard to pick up and Put on cake)

I've never made marshmallow fondant, I've always used homemade with the gelatin in it. Marshmallows are just gelatin and sugar anyway, so using the marshmallows is a shortcut way to make it, but from what I've seen the marshmallow fondant looks a lot stiffer than the stuff that I make, so it probably acts differently. Why not try a batch of the basic homemade recipe and see what you think? I don't think it's as stretchy as some other types, but if you make it yourself you can adjust it to make it stiffer or softer, depending on how you like it.
