Hi

I am planning to make Jelly Beans cupcakes for a party. I am wondering if I can make them a day in advance. Do Jelly Beans start absorbing the frosting and become soft? Which type of frosting would be ideal for them - butter cream or ganache?

Thanks for your help!

In my experience, they should be fine. I use the jelly bean rocks for deco sometimes on buttercream and they never run or get gooey.

Thank you so much. By the way, did you let the buttercream dry out a bit before putting the Jelly Beans?
