Hello!

I've tried looking online and couldn't find a good answer. For this cake I used a recipe I found on here which is kind of an ABC and SMBC mixed together. It has 6 sticks of butter, 1 cup shortening, 2 lbs PS, and here's where I'm concerned, 3/4 cup pasteurized egg whites, plus vanilla etc.

I'd be happy to stick it in the fridge, but I'm worried about the fondant decorations I have on the cake.

Will it be ok to leave it out? Or is refrigeration a necessity?

Thanks!

Anybody? I've spent 8 hours on this cake and really don't want to ruin it!

I always keep my cakes in the fridge. Fondant or not. Yes, it'll sweat a bit, but not too much.
