I want to make christmassy flavoured cake pops from a freezer full of chocolate cake scraps. They are from a dense dark chocolate cake that compresses easily so I don't think it will need much if any buttercream to make. Any ideas what flavours would work? I was thinking brandy, orange zest and cinnamon but I'm not sure. Also, has anyone made cake pops without buttercream and with alcohol?

yes, you can make it without frosting, you just might have to mix it for a sec or two longer.
