Hey friends! Just wondering if you prefer to make your fondant or buy store packaged.

If homemade whats your favourite recipe. I live in a dry climate.

When I use it, I buy it.

I make my own fondant as it tastes so much better than store bought.  I use Michele Foster's recipe found here on CC.  I tried marshmallow fondant a few times, but never could get it right.  It's too greasy for me.  I find I can control the pliability with MF's fondant better than MMF.

I buy it; but if I made it, I would use Michele Foster's recipe. My sister makes that one and it works.

There's a mixed fondant (half homemade and half store-bought) that Liz Marek uses (see link). Some people have trouble with the elasticity and workability of marshmallow fondant, so her recipe remedies that by adding store bought fondant to the homemade one.
