I am going to attempt the salted butter caramel one over the weekend. I will let you know how it turns out

Must the cake be baked in a silicone cake tin for it to have the desired effect? Does anyone know?

I made it last night in a metal round 3 inch tall 8 inch cake pan. I put in the fridge overnight and will update after we try it for dessert tonight/
