i'm planning out a friends birthday cake, if i make a 15 inch round cake around 4 inch high (or more). how much people would it feed? would it feed more than 50? if portion sizes weren't very small? and what usual portion size do you take for cakes?

usual size is 1x2x4 which fits nicely on a dessert plate -- it's a nice sized serving in real life but it sounds weeny but it's plenty -- and craftybanana answered this is another thread with the party size chart because you wanted larger servings --

this is the chart for industry standard sized servings:

best to you

thank you very much x) and i have a question, i saw a forum before, that you had commented on stating that you can use corn starch in fondant instead of tylose powder?? i cant find that forum anymore

can you please tell me how much corn starch you use? because where i'm from they don't sell tylose powder at all! @-K8memphis
