Does anyone have a Canon PIXMA MG2450 or Canon PIXMA MG2550 that they use for printing. I am looking at buying one and I am not sure if these work with the edible inks and papers etc.

Any advise would be great. Thanks

The two printers you mentioned are not edible compatable.  You want to look for the Canon MG6620 or the Canon ix6820.  Currently those are the best for edible printing.
