Hey! Im baking a 2 tier vanilla cake with coffee buttercream, crushed hazelnut wafers and italian meringue on top. It is for my fathers birthday on monday. I plan to bake the cake on sunday, though I can do it earlier if needed. How do I bake, decorate, and store it for maximum freshness on Monday? Thanks!
Baking it on Sunday will be absolutely fine. It will have time to cool complete and you can fill, ice and decorate it on Sunday evening or Monday morning.
