Hi - I need desperate help!!
A few days ago I attempted to make a Victoria sponge cake but when it came out of the oven it had not cooked properly. The cake inside was cooked but the top was sticky and crystally? Almost like all the sugar was at the top of the cake?
It is strange as I have never experienced problems like this before...anyone have any ideas?
Could it be my cake mixer or is it my oven?? Any help, tips and advice greatly appreciated!! :-)
I'm not sure about the cause of the problem but if there's nothing wrong with the inside, just cut the top off?
