Okay, first make sure its secured, what the lady I interned with had done was had me sit in the back of her van and watch for the cake. She'd warn me if any possible bumps or sudden stops. She actually hammered in the middle of the tiered cake a long thin wooden stake where there was a little extra on the top and i would hold that top without moving my hand. It kept the layers more secure. Also, blast air conditioning! Oh and another thing, bring an extra layer cake, knife, bucket of icing, decorations (if you used anything) as well so just in case anything happens, your covered! The lady I interned with did this and actually had stuff in a tool box labeled (cake repair box) so if god forbid something did happen along the way, we fixed it! Work awesomely!
