Hi there!  I'm making a cake that has to be delivered on Sunday.  I'm supposed to go out of town Saturday afternoon so I'm wondering how much I can get done before  does this timing sound like it would be ok and still have a fresh cake?

Friday - crumb coat and ice the cake

Saturday morning - add MMF decorations

i would then leave the cake sit on the counter with a box over it until Sunday.  I'd probably prop the box a little to keep it from getting too moist inside.

thanks!

I think it will be just fine. I would add the decorations just before you are ready to go.
