Hi all, I am new to this, I was wondering if I could bake a cake and decorate it with fondant 3 days ahead of when it's due to be picked up. Thanks in advance
I bake the morning of the first day. Let the cake cool in the pan, then turn it out on to a wire rack and wrap with plastic until completely cooled. Towards the end of the day I fill and frost. I let it sit out overnight so the frosting can crust. The second day I fondant in the morning. Later on in the day I put on the decoration. Deliver on the third day or have it picked up.
