I have made a couple of different batches of MMF, just trying to figure out one that I really like. However, I'm running into a problem with them being very sticky. I tried to use one batch to cover a cake, but it was so sticky that I couldn't even get it off the mat. The second batch was still really sticky. Can anyone give me some good advice on how to help this?!

Try adding more powdered sugar and working it in small batches until you achieve a firmer but still pliable texture.

i also apply crisco to my hands while doing this to ensure it doesn't stick to me.

I swear MMF in the summer time acts totally different     I haven't had a batch be perfect yet this whole summer.

Also, humidity may be a factor.

@mccantsbakes  @MarisParis  - Okay, hopefully it's just the humidity & the hot weather, because it has been very frustrating. This is my first time using MMF and I was beginning to think I just wasn't doing something right. Every time I go to touch it, it just starts sweating.
