Just curious....has anyone tried a food dehydrator to speed the process of drying fondant? I use MMF and add tylose and cornstarch as I work with it but sometimes lack the lead time to make things far in advance. I dislike using gumpaste unless I'm doing something like flowers.

yes others have -- i use a warming drawer in my oven -- no fan but it works great -- i use it on low which is a hundred and fifty degrees fahrenheit -- and you don't want to touch your items till they cool off because they soften in the heat and then firm up when cooled off  -- and any hotter than that (150f) and they melt --

maybe you can go to 160 but i know for sure 150 is safe --

i can have a bow ready in an hour or two but i usually like to do two hours on, let it cool off, then another two hours

best to you
