I'm looking for a traditional fruitcake recipe for an African wedding. Preferably in standard measurements. She said that what she is looking for has raisins in it.
Also, a step by step, treat me like a 10 year old, how to do it. I'm only aware of American type fruitcakes, and that type of fruit. Where would I purchase the dried fruit, treacle, etc that it would need. I'm already aware of having to glaze it, cover in marzipan and fondant. :)
They would like to keep a tier for their one year anniversary, so I know there will be rum/brandy involved.
