Hey all

I'm doing a cake for a LA Lakers fan and I'm not certain how to get the golden yellow colour for the fondant.

Would I be right in using orange or yellow with a small amount of brown to give it the vintage gold colour? Or is there a better way?

I would use Americolor yellow and add a bit of their gold color until its the color your want. They do have a color called gold:
