Im trying to find a light fluffy moist yellow cake . Every receipe ive tried is dense with not much flavor.

Under the thread, "Light and Fluffy, there is a link to Sweetapolita's Vanilla Bean cake and frosting that you might have luck with. It uses mainly egg whites  and a yolk and butter so it does qualify as a yellow cake. I haven't tried it but because of the description - it does sound like it might fit the bill

If not, there are other recommendations on that thread.

Left out the credits in my prior post.  The moist yellow Cake (aka yummy yellow cake )  discussed above is by Toba Garrett and is in her book the well decorated cake.
