Hi everyone sorry for the stupid question I'm new to cookies I usually decorate with royal icing, I've a Minnie mouse cutter with detail plunger and wanted to know how to go about decorating do I use fondant, or icing? I want something that will be smooth and show off the small details, thank you 😃

There are no stupid questions. Yes, use fondant for your Minnie Mouse. Maybe go over the details with some lustre dust..

You could use either. They would both work well you will just have different looking results. With royal you would overlay the colors.  The fondant will accept the details without much fuss.  So it depends how much time and effort you want to put into it.
