I'm sorry, this has nothing to do with an answer to any questions, but I have to say WOW!  I"m just in awe of anyone who actually attempt this...I've done a lot of crazy things in my  baking but I think I may have turned the other way on this one.  Good Luck to you raylis, I hope this goes well for you.

I wonder if adding a tablespoon of oil would help...? with keeping  the cake moist...?
