Has anyone ever used the Wilton Sugar Sheets to make cupcake picks that stand up? I have black dance silhouettes to make for cupcakes and I wasn't sure if I should try cutting them out of the black sugar sheets and attaching them to wood sticks with edible glue or if I should roll out black gumpaste, cut them out, stick a wood stick in them and let them dry. If I use gumpaste, I was going to try the Choco-pan black gumpaste. Any advice would be great. These need to stand up in heat so I wasn't sure what the best route would be. Thanks!

I would use the gumpaste.  The sugar sheets are very flimsy and wouldn't stand up very well without lots of support.  The gumpaste can be rolled nice and thin so that it dries hard and gives you a better pick.

TheresaCarol is right - again! Gumpaste is best.

Thank you for the advice. I am going to use gumpaste then.
