Hello I am curious if anyone would be able to share opinion and their knowledge about a great sugar recipe for sugar decorations? I read up on Fondant, Gumpaste and Pastalliage however I am looking for a inbetween recipe for a sugar paster that is flexiable and can with stand the heat and during transport I am helping a friend make a wedding cake in August of this year and the heat is unbearable where I live right now neer mind in August My sugar Flowers have melted somewhat and softened and lost there shape I want something with gelatin in it but don't know the measurements
If you are looking to pipe decorations you can use royal icing.
Hi That's a great idea however the request has been made for Sugar Paste Flowers! I am just thinking of using a platinium sugar paste
Maybe fondant with some Tylose. If you put some but not enough to harden I think this might give you what you want
