Hello,

In the past I have completed self assessments myself for an old ( non food) business so I have a good understanding of completing it etc? But as I'm in the middle of starting a new venture " a cake business" I'm just interested to know if you prefer to do your own taxes or do you have an accountant?

I can just imagine how high the figures for ingredients will be and that's before all other expenses.....so even tho I could work it out and I will have a good record keeping of costs and expenses,  I'm not sure if I should go down getting an accountant route to make sure everything's 'double checked' so to speak.

I'm I just really keen to know your experiences with the topic as I'm yet to walk in your shoes

Thankyou for any feedback : )
