If I have a cake that's due Saturday  can I bake it Thursday  and let it sit out covered wirh Saran Wrap until Friday. Then Friday I will decorate the cake and Saturday I will take the cake to the party.

Yes, as long as it's not filled with a perishable filling and make sure the Saran wrap is on good so no air is getting in :)
