Coloring Modleing Chocolate

This is my first time working with modelling chocolate I've made a batch of plain white how ever i need a few different colors, how do i color i have Ameri color paste gels . and i tried to color it like fondant but it gets extremely sticky. does anyone have any suggestions?

you might want to try to use oil-based candy colors instead of the americolor. They're water-based and they'll work because of the corn syrup in the modeling chocolate, but oil-based colors might work better. It will get sticky, just put it in the fridge for a bit and it will harden up.

 If you're making more of it, add the color to the corn syrup before you mix it into the melted chocolate and it will be easier to color because you wont' have to knead it in.

how do i get it to stiffen u, i tried holding it and it keeps like melting.
