Hey guys. I'm looking for a good filling to use with a vanilla cake...something that doesn't need to be refrigerated. It will be made Friday and will be out in room temp till eaten on sat afternoon. Nothing with strawberries since the bottom layer is already going to be chocolate with strawberry preserve. Thanks

All of them are fine with smbc. I use it myself. You can actually flavor your smbc with the above. ..

Thank you ALL, and I know this is a dumb question. How would you do the oreo cookie with SMBC?? wouldn't the cookie get soggy/soft?

I make smbc then add the oreo filling and crush up the cookie in a food processor until fine like powder before adding them.
