There are several Italian Cream Cake recipes in the Recipes section. Can anyone suggest which one works well? The one that starts with a cake mix looks great, but it's only been rated once. I'd appreciate any input on this. Thanks!

BTW I top it with Cream Cheese Buttercream

Cheryl gave me a recipe for Italian Cream Cake and she said it was really good. I know she used it for a groom's cake. If you give me your email address I can send it to you.

Italian Meringue Buttercream
1 1/4 cups sugar
5 large egg whites
Pinch of cream of tartar
1 pound (4 sticks) unsalted butter, chilled
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
