Okay so i can't figure out how to copy and paste the picture, so I have it has my profile pic. Hopefully you guys can see it.
Its a cake thats wrapped with ruffle. I was thinking of cutting the fondant strips and 'paint' piping gel all over the cake and then put on the fondant strips.
Any other ideas?
I think this would be the basic idea just with smaller strips of fondant.
I would do it the same way as you described...try using modeling chocolate. I love using modeling chocolate because you have more time to adjust your strips.
