Which one do you guys use? I recently started to gnache my cakes..OMG..I'LL NEVER GO BACK TO BUTTERCREAM! As a result..the cakes are heavier.  I used to the plastic dowels.  But i'm wondering which is stronger against gnached cakes.

May i can just put a few extra plastic dowels..or change to wood.

i'd stick with plastic -- why not use the 3/4" hollow dowel -- i like the width of those in the bottom tiers -- they are very sturdy -- or channeling leah -- why not sps

The hollow plastic dowels are my go-to choice!   :)
