Hey all!

My other half and I are about to become legal in our neck of the woods and open up our first bakery!  We primarily do cupcakes and cake balls, but also do biscotti, frosting shots, push pops, etc.  I know everywhere is different, depending upon where you live, but I thought it would be neat to see what all are your most popular cupcake/cake ball flavors that you sell? Sorry, if this has been asked before, but I really couldn't find anything that was more recent, so thought I'd start a new thread!  Hope you all are having a cake-rific week! :P

Well, for me it's either vanilla or chocolate flavored cupcake orders I get. Especially if it is for birthdays, baby showers etc. People like to play it safe

Thanks everyone for the reply's!  It's always interesting to see what are other people's most popular flavors :)

Frosting shots are just our yummy frosting put into mini ketchup like plastic containers :)  Just for the college students, or young children or anyone else for that matter that just want our frosting.

Vanilla Almond is a popular go-to for me.  People like the safety of vanilla, but extra yummy flavor of the almond.

What exactly is your version of blue velvet??  Is it just white cake dyed blue?

It is a white base but with some buttermilk, butter, and an extra tbsp. of sour cream. :-)

I rarely sell custom cakes anymore, but we do serve cake in our cafe'.  Our most popular flavors are red velvet, maple bacon and salted caramel.  I've had customers give me their phone #s and friend me on facebook so I can let them know when we're serving a particular flavor.
