I just needed to get an idea on how much to charge someone for 2doz lemon madeleine cookies. I would also have to decorate them as little clam shells. I'd have to put buttercream in the middle and dot little eyes on it.

Any input is great. thanks again!

I've never sold Madeleines before, just make them for the family. But just made a calculation. 24 cost me roughly 6$ to make (will vary where you are most probably!) and one hour time (the resting bit of the dough excluded). So I would charge 6$+one hour labor. You have to add a profit on that if desired

Thank you!

i was thinking $20 just because I have to make buttercream and spend the time to cut them all in half and add eyes to them

she was asking this:

Cost of ingredients + packaging + overhead + labor cost + profit. Also research on how much bakeries in your area sell the same product.
