I bought a master G23-22 airbrush and it only sprays air not my ameripaint. This is my first time using it and don't know it I am doing something wrong

Make sure you push the trigger down and then pull the trigger back (while pushing the trigger down).

I was doing that, I took it apart thanks to YouTube and when I put it back together it started to work. Now another question how thin does the paint have to be to spray right

The ameripaint airbrush colors dont need to be mixed with anything ... use them straight out of the bottle. You do have to really shake the metalic colors and with those I only fill the spray gun about 1/3 because the paint settles fast and clogs easily.
