Hi have a brand new out of the box canon mg5420 and when printing on icing sheets, I have the feeder roller imprint on my sheets.  It makes like a stitching imprint from top to bottom on my sheets.

Is there anyone else that has that problem?  I tried every setting and it sill does it!  grrrrr

A lot can do with the printer setting and the paper you are using.  Some papers have a harder surface and does not absorb the ink fast enough.  The rollers on the printer than track the ink through.  In addition, if your ink settings are too high, the printer will output too much ink which will not allow the ink to absorb.  We may be able to help you if you want to give a call at 540 869 5511.

See if the printer has an 'envelope' setting where it accepts thicker paper/card.  That might help.

Also going in to the printer maintenance section - other and setting the paper abrasion to on will help. But if the paper cant absorb the ink fast enough to dry, you still may see the lines.
