I am making my first wedding cake. I and doing a cake that is a riff on a Gail Watson cake from her A Simple Cake line. It has many little flowers all over each tie. The cake will be  IMBC and I too do not want hundred's of wires in it. How do you attach   your flowers? All the tutorials seem to use wire.

make them without  the wires and attach with edible glue or royal icing or melted chocolate -- the one with the little blossom flowers? also i would make those out of fondant with cornstarch kneaded in so the guests can have the option to eat them -- i'd add a flavoring that complements the flavor of the cake too

or attach with piping gel or buttercream just depends on what surface you are attaching them too
