So a lot of people make there ganache out of dark chocolate, but why? Why not use normal milk chocolate ?

Can you use normal milk chocolate ? & what about White chocolate ganache, not many people seem to make that either.. I'm looking for a really yummy & amazing ganache recipe for all chocolates

The recipe for milk chocolate is 1:2 ratio, possibly 1:3.  One part whipping cream to 2 or 3 parts milk chocolate or white chocolate.  I use regular chocolate chips and it sets very well.  I use chocolate and white chocolate.
