Not even sure how toook for the design on this cake. It appears to me to be a press on, stencil or some type of lace mold. Any suggestions?

There's no picture. Try to cut and paste the link of the page instead of the picture itself.

Where do you get designer stencils?  I figured I would just have to make my own.

I get stencils from here:  http://www.countrykitchensa.com/catalog/searchresults.aspx?description=stencils.  Not sure if they have the stencil you are looking for but you can try.

Everything on that cake is piped---it's beautifully done, but you can tell by the imperfections and inconsistencies here and there that it's hand piped

I hope this comes close to what you are trying to do. I've use their stencils before, wonderful product. Also you can hand-pipe over over the design to enhance it. I hope this helps some. Pam

I agree with you birdies that is pipe and yes it is beautiful.  I was hoping the top design was maybe sugar veil but have found nothing that indicates that.  I am going to try to make a stencil to at least give myself some marks for guides.  It will be on a square cake which will make it much easier.  Thank you all for your hep.  Blessings, Sandy
