Hello Bakers,
I was wondering how long can you store your royal icing decoration for?? I'm planning on doing my decoration ahead of time and store it; even though I don't know I'm not sure how to do it (whether refrigerate it or keep it at room temperature). I'm just making some flowers to add to my cake covered in IM.
Thanks a lot guys!

Store the RI flowers on baking trays/cookies sheets till completely dry, then put them in a lidded cardboard box - to keep them out of harsh light and any dust. They will last for a very long time that way.

ETA, do not fridge them. They don't need it. Just in a cardboard (not plastic) lidded box at room temp.
