AIm making a cake for my niece's 1st birthday and her mom wants a dr seuss inspired cake. Im not quite sure where to go with this. she doesnt want anything with actual dr seuess characters because theyre too well known and if they arent just right itll look weird. Everything im finding for inspiration reminds me more if willy Wonka not dr seuss. Also it cant be a topsy turvy cake.

That.....doesn't really leave a lot of options!

Perhaps a hat cake, in the shape of the Cat's hat?  I must admit, I'm struggling for ideas for this myself!
