I'm making this cake for a chili cook-off this Saturday.  I'm doing a 10" double barrel with the sides covered in fondant.  The top will just be chocolate BC and other décor pieces made to look like "chili".  I've made the bow already and I'm concerned about how heavy it is.  How do I get it attached to the side of the cake without tearing any fondant?  The bow will be dried when I attach it so simple water won't do the trick...not to mention that I don't think it would hold up.  I need some suggestions!  My only thought right now is stiff royal icing?  Thanks for the help!
