I am looking for a recipe for Poppy Seed cake which included bourbon and goat cheese. It was the best. I haven't made it in years and I seem to have misplaced the recipe..I have also looked online to no avail. It may have come from an old Southern Living cook book but I can't be sure...

I have never tried a poppy seed cake. If you should happen to locate the recipe, I would also like to try this cake. It sounds yummy. Does the goat cheese go into making the frosting or does it go into the cake? 

Hopefully, someone here has the recipe!!

The goat cheese went into the batter. The goat cheese and the whisky gave it a really nice balance.  Not too sweet.
