I have a great yellow cake recipe but when I try to use to make cupcakes the cake sticks to the liner. How do I fix this? The other problem I am having is I buy pretty cupcake liners but once the cupcake is baked you can't see the pretty design.  Suggestions?

My cupcakes sometimes stick to the liner (depending on the cake and the liner used), but I find that after a day of being stored in a sealed container, that usually does the trick.  I think the retained moisture helps to loosen the liner from the sides.  And for the pretty liners, I'd just add another liner after the cupcake is baked.  (Double up)

I think the type of liners might be the cause. You could bake in plain liners and than place the cupckae in a fancy one.

Does anyone else give their cupcake liners a quick spray with pam, If not I do it and never seem to have problems with them.
