I recently fell in love with cookie decorating. I'm a serious hobbiest, only for family, & I want to know if there is a formula to look for in a soft, chewy, cut out cookie recipe. I have my "go to" sugar & gingerbread cookies, but would like to find or create other recipes such as chocolate, pumpkin, pecan, peanut butter etc. So what's the science I need to understand? Any suggestions or recipes that are trusted would be GREATLY appreciated! Happy baking to all
